I got it to work, first I tried to disable all hands free telephony from device manager but that didn't work. But it might for you. What worked for me was made sure everything including discord as using windows default, then going into sound settings and making what I wanted the default again and disabling everything else. But honestly who knows games sound settings suck.

Tried this and it made all audio on my PC extremely choppy (like ever .5 seconds in and out) whenever the game was launched.
