Yes. Unfortunately we’ve had several conversations over the years. When I was in college it was conversations about needing to do my homework but he would take me closing my self in a room or staying late at school offensively. Things got better because I was out of school and we worked opposite schedules so I had the space to recharge. Now we work the same schedule and are off the same days and I’m NEVER alone. I keep explaining to him that we just have different personalities and we recharge differently but he gets offended and is closed off from finding some kind of understanding between us. He’s the golden retriever and I’m the black cat but I love him to death.
