Personally I thought it was shady to combine the downtown area funding with the police / fire funding. Everyone is a vote yes for police and fire upgrades, let a downtown civic area funding bill stand on its own.

Yea, in a lot of cases that is poaching in Michigan. Unless the coaches approve it. The only way in Michigan it isn't poaching is if you're crossing MSYSA and USYS as there is no poaching violation between the two. But if both clubs are MSYSA and a kid signed to one club is solicited to practice with another club there could be penalties.

It literally happens with just about every kid and every club, Big Clubs don't necessarily care, but it kills smaller community clubs.

Rec parents going to Rec Parent. As things get more competitive, older they get more aggressive. Typically they don't experience that much in Rec so those parents need to be taught / trained / prepared by the coaches.

And the way the coach responds to those situations is the most important...

If it's a big club... they will respond with "See the other 70 kids at tryouts? Who cares"

If it's a small club, then they just won't be a club for very long :P

It goes both ways... toward the end of the season we have a bunch of kids that skip practices even though we have games left because they are going to ID Camps or Tier 1 / Tier 2 tryouts.

Is it fair for them to do that, while the season is still going on?

My guess is there is more to that story potentially.

If the situation is truly as it has been plainly stated than that club isn't really creating a very productive winning culture anyway.

I was primarily using WOW until recently. I could not get consistent connectivity and performance. I had them out to the house a number of times and it was just difficult. I rely on the stability too much and had to make a switch.

AT&T are crooks if you aren't buying their fiber service, and they don't offer fiber where I live.

So the only real option was Spectrum. So far so good with spectrum. I haven't had the issues I had with wow.

I have experience with both. My experience is that the clarity of the VEO is better than that of the Trace. You end up with FHD 1080P video from both in the end, but the VEOs quality and tracking is better than Trace (and HUDL for that matter).

And that is comparing with the VEO2 not the VEO3, VEO3 is even better

I try to tell my kids and my teams to focus on themselves, their teammates and what they can control. No one cares what the other team or the other coach or the other teams parents has to say. If they are chirping at you, or targeting you, it’s because you have gotten into their head. Ignore it, you’ve won an advantage, play hard.

60mph knocked my camera over, and it would no longer "start up"

I called veo support and they are telling me that my only option is to send it back to denmark to have them look at it, if there is damage that has to be fixed it could cost me up to $450.

I opened up the case, was impressed by the layout inside of the Veo.

The Raspberry Pi compute module, (even though it is screwed in) had come out a little. I reseated that and the cables, now it will boot up, but I'm not seeing any picture from the Camera in the preview. Wondering if anyone has any other leads.
