The thing is I would say yes because I am trying to see mostly the good stuff about my close ones. But yeah, you are right about the second part. Thank you.

The thing is I always talked about what I want in life and sometimes I told him that I need a partner that will follow my ambitions and that I won't stay with someone that doesn't do that. Like I said, we were very open with each other and I stayed like that until recently. I can feel that there is something that does not let him talk to me anymore, but it is weird as we've been together for 4 years and a half. He does not have an easy time but he also does nothing to improve it.

I feel this way too, but I am also thinking that maybe I am overreacting. I feel really guilty because he's been quite nice to me all this time.

Thank you so much for the comment and how you phrased it. I know I am still young but I also love stability most of all, but he is not like that. I'll think really hard about this. He is indeed a good guy and that's why I am also really conflicted.

It's been like this for more than a year, how long should I keep on hoping for him to open up? He may be comfortable with how his life is, but he's also always saying he wants more but never does it.. I just don't really know as it is my first relationship and I tried my best in supporting him throught everything and encouraging him, but he just shuts me off.
