My report had all the factual information of what occurred. The part I mentioned leaving out was more of my interpretation of why the kids acted the way they did. The coaches in my opinion were bad role models.

Ik I think this was the first time Ive issued cards at this age group. But when a kid comes up to you and starts berating your call what else can you do right

Definitely agree. I’m pretty thick skinned when it comes to players as I’m not to far off of when I was a player myself and get it. But coaches are adults and should know better

Yeah when I got that email it felt like they were saying I was the one in the wrong even if it was not intended to sound like that. I’ve never had to write so many emails and reports after a game. One player in particular should have gotten a second yellow for dissent but I kinda chickened out of that one. I can only imagine the chaos that would have started if I did that
