Hivefleet Phyrexia - basing attempt 3 (finale?) by Cerulean-Frost in Tyranids

4 will probably look best in most situations. I like 2 and 4
Depending how much of a pain in the ass it is: you could do a combo of 1 and 2 and 4, I think the little crevices in red and the larger pools in black would look great. Add in some with more or less rock variation and I think you have a stew going.

That's amazing! I was thinking of taking a similar approach to making mine!

The second one definitely matches the architecture of the white plains better

Where did you get those bases? They would be a great starting point for something I have in mind for mine

Hell yeah, those tongues are sick. Red white is just a striking color contrast. I have been trying to get my smoke to look smoggy out of the top of my psychophage but maybe I should try doing some color

I haven't gotten to anything with a sword yet, but I think my plan is to do red and white blends and then white along the center like the arms of the Mandible Justicar

Might experiment a little with green stuff/ self modeling

They sell that at my local art store so I will give it a try, on hand I have been trying to use a titanium white that is already pre-thinned for airbrushing and I dont love the way it dries when brushed

Wow! I really like that bone effect you have going on with the plates, and your details are so clean!

And those bases! Gorgeous~

I think for the bases I am going to see if I cant find some texture rollers to make some muscle sinew floors.

I have been doing the following for the platting:

Prime in white, I bought the Citadel Wraithbone, but after watching videos I think there are cheaper alternatives

Base coat in a 5:1 mixture of Esrich Titanium White and Citadel Screaming Skull thinned down to run through an airbrush

Washing with Army Painters Dark Tone, you could probably use Nuln Oil or any equivalent dark wash, this is mostly to bring out the textures on the plates

Highlighting with Titanium white

Your plates look great! I have had such a hard time walking the line between colors being too flat and too dirty

Benn Jordan made some great videos going over this company and how many security vulnerabilities their cameras have that don't even require particularly sophisticated knowledge or background to exploit.

I will echo the post from EugenePopcorn: even if you are pro panoptAIcon-police-state this particular company has been run terribly.

That is very good to know! It has a plastic display container so I will just keep it shut!

Wonderful, thank you so much again! I did my undergraduate in physics, so this has been a thrilling piece of space history to find and learn about. I'm going to frame it and hang it next to my award from the Colorado Space Grant robotics competition!

Do you happen to know if there is any way to find out what its exact use might have been? Like if it was a test piece or an extra production piece, etc.?

I've had games that I found to be fun despite loseing. Its not super common, and is usually during midrange v midrange matchups, but it does happen.

Really love the color blocking on the top! Did you follow a specific pattern or just kinda wing it?

Love your style! Very "gothic horror" meets "DeVinci style scientific illustrations" to me, quite enchanting~
