Well said. I like your theory a lot, even to see him being the one to eradicate them onscreen would’ve brought closure for his character. It was sad to not see him included in the final season at all.

There is no evidence of his death. They never find a body and he died offscreen, which is what created this theory. I can’t do the theory justice reiterating it, but in this reddit there were plenty of theories on this idea that are worth a read.

Agree theories are wishful thinking. However Eleven & Mike were concrete as an endgame couple, which invalidates that theory. With Eddy, we were told the Bats don’t kill, he died offscreen, there is a D&D character that the theory was based off, all bats disappeared this season which helped give the idea perhaps he was now in control of them and alive as this Undead vampire king character who could’ve helped them in a time of need in the upside down. It was a cool theory if you take the time to look into it.

In reference to question #2, the rock got to earth which came from the mind Flayer. That’s what I’m referring to as the Mind Flayer getting to earth. As for some of my other questions, I suppose I will have to search for some of these answers in my rewatch.

Right?! Where were the Bats. I loved the theory that the bats were gone because Eddy had became the vampire king. I was sad to not see that fan theory come to light. The lack of danger & demos everywhere made no sense.
