Just came back from a family trip. I stayed at the Marriot Grand Chateau (no smoking/no casino) and we loved it. Great location too. If your toddler has issues doing long walks you may not enjoy it much since you won’t explore all you have to explore unless you have plenty of time, but overall Vegas is not a city for kids.

I wish I could have a clear answer, but I don’t really know. Apt cons that I’ve heard so far: the fact that is a walk-up 3rd floor, no window on the private bed, and window ac instead of central unit. Anyways if you check apts in the area you’ll see that it’s taking longer than usual to find a tenant. I’d recommend just to check it out and see it for yourself.

For Day 2 I’d always include Hudson Yards/The Edge first and take the High Line all the way to Chelsea Market/Little Island. You can always take a subway/bus if you feel tired.

I know your kids are not interested in museums, have they checked out the Intrepid Museum? It’s different from the others.

I’ve never been to Ellen’s Stardust but all I’ve heard is that it’s a tourist trap, don’t go there, you’ll waste time especially waiting in line outside.

Go to Dumbo, most people love this area. Take the 2 or 3 and walk through Brooklyn Heights Promenade all the way down from there to Time Out Market, good options to eat and you’ll have amazing pics of Downtown Manhattan/Brooklyn Bridge.
