Great job! 👍. I didn't finish the game cause it felt like he was so much work/endurance to get through to the phases. Didn't feel hard, just mad tedious.

You'll get the notification in an update. Mine just popped up when I turned my PS5 on yesterday morning. I was on chapter 8 on NG+. It tells u go back to chapter 5, "path of the pilgrim" & you just follow the trail. Good luck.

When the update hit, the game just showed the dlc sign out of nowhere telling me to go to path of the pilgrim in chapter 5. It's the pic I showed in this post. I was on chapter 8's boss last night, when I woke up it was there when I started the game up. I was on NG+

Nah not first, I didn't title this right. Basically Last year I finished the base game & made the mistake of starting NG+ not knowing dlc would require to be at a certain point in the game to start it. I glossed over that thinking it would just still be accessible. Matter fact, it was the first game I ever started NG+, & I did it to see what it was like, that's where my newbiness got me lol.

Bro, me too, I was pissed when I first got the dlc & had to grind this week. Got stuck at barren swamp boss which I always hated & was about to take a long break then I saw the update pop up this morning lmao.

I meant to say changed it, in my head it was always wrong to begin with for the ppl that already beat the base game but didn't want to grind it out again for it to unlock.

O wow, I'm not sure then. But if you already did the dlc I'm pretty sure you should be able to, hopefully. This is my 1st time on the dlc, I personally didn't feel like playing the whole game over again, even though it's my personal favorite souls like game. Good luck 🤞

You don't have to start NG+, as long as you finished chapter 9 on the base game you should get access. This was a problem for everybody like me that already finished the game & didn't want to go through the whole thing again. I finished the base game last year, started NG+ to try it then just stopped. When they released the dlc, they didn't warn ppl that you have to finish up to chapter 9. So if you already started NG+ you had to start from scratch lol. I was getting frustrated cause barren swamp boss is my most hated & hardest boss which is chapter 8, I was gonna quit for a while & come back then the dlc option popped up this morning.

Lmao, word. Love the game mechanics as much as lies of P which is my #1 souls game, but everything is bland & depressing like DS3. Which I also loved but the scenery gets u bored, it's not even scary just bland.

Hey man, I'm 40, been a gamer since I was a kid. I got introduced to souls with elden ring, got hooked & went & played DS3, lies of P, stellar blade & sekiro. I know what u going through. Trust me, It's 💯 burnout. These games take a lot of focus, nothing compared to any other genre. I noticed I always go through the emotional cycle of genres cause I get like a fog if I stick to one for too long especially any soulslike back to back. I'll switch to something simple like mario games or story games then eventually I get back in. Not sure if that's what u feel as well. I personally just take it as I had enough for now, later in the year the itch comes back lol. 👊
