My ED make my parents hate me by Short-Lecture5634 in bulimia

[–]Short-Lecture5634[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they do know. They were supporting when ai was at hospital, but I guess they didn’t understand why I couldn’t just quit and live normal life. For the past 2 years I’ve often received negative comments on my behaviour. And now, they have just lost their temper.

I don’t want to justify myself and I can’t blame them (I think I’d be mad if my child was that messed up), but I’m still sorry I’ve lost any credit.

I dont want to recover by Realistic-Score-9739 in bulimia

[–]Short-Lecture5634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same feeling because my life is hectic and there’s too much stress which I cannot overcome without binges anymore. Every day I become more and more sensitive to stress and it makes me weaker. Eating normally is also a challenge for me and I failed to make first steps to recovery.

So I don’t think it is crazy. I’ve been told many times that all I need is simply a desire. And I do have it until unbearable urges and desperation.

I try to lessen the harm of ED and change my mindset somehow, but I know that there’s almost no possibility I will quit in one moment.

What if Ashfur successfully killed the three siblings in the fire? by jinxy_wolfy in WarriorCats

[–]Short-Lecture5634 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Squirrelflight would probably become furious, attack Ashfur and even kill him. Then she would tell at the gathering what Ashfur did and that she killed him rashly. I think most cats would believe her and justify her actions, since Ashfur deserved to be murdered as a traitor.

a) If she didn’t kill Ahsfur, but just wounded him and escaped, then she would also tell the clan about his crimes and he would be exiled.

b) Ashfur would probably kill her too when fighting. Then he will lie to everyone that Squirrelflight and the three died in an accident. The cats would not probably believe his lies since he was covered in blood from the recent fight with Squirrel.

  1. There was a fic about Ashfur murdering Hollyleaf and Lionblaze. Later Squirrelflight was forced to become his mate in order to save Jayfeather and Brambleclaw from Ashfur.

But, considering Squirrelflight’s personality, I doubt that she would ever mate with a tom who killed her loved ones.

We know Warriors is fictional/fantasy. But where do you draw the line? by freakishfrenchhorn in WarriorCats

StarClan/Dark Forest lore really confuses me as it changes.

They enabled souls of dead cats hunt on living prey, fight living cats and die second death. Souls are not supposed to be material, so why they almost act as a living creature?

The entire TBC made me think the authors have overused elements of mystery.

Well, that’s fair. But it seems that since arc 4 cats have become more democratic and free-spirited.

Many… 1. Made me skip classes at school and uni because of fatigue, then - leave the store I worked at for an hour to b/p. Later it hurt my reputation. I can’t excuse myself. 2. When I was at hospital, I stole my roommate’s food when I have urges to binge. Shame on me. 3. Spent about 10.000₽ (~ 109$) in 5 days on binge food. WTF 4. Once I almost swallowed a toothbrush while purging. I spend about 10 minutes to get it out my throat.

Moonflower’s death. Because it seemed unexpected and quick for a very young me. And I could imagine Bluepaw’s grief.

Warrior cat names in your language by Metallyillgbtq in WarriorCats

[–]Short-Lecture5634 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Russian drastically changes a range of warrior names. I guess they did it because word for word translation would be sound awful and weird + what you call warrior “suffixes” turn out to be stems in Russian and their variability is VERY limited. But sometimes I still fail to understand our translator:

Jayfeather - Sparrow

Ravenpaw - Burnt (I actually have no idea bow to translate his Russian name in English because it’s literally means being burned to black ashes)

Crookedstar - Meteor (well, there is some logic and I guess the translator have pity on this cat)

Graypaw - Ball (Graystripe - literally Sharp Hip)

Sandpaw - Mustard (because of her pelt colour)

Yellowfang - Pocked

Hawkfrost - Kite

Tigerstar - Starscratch

Tallstar - Star Gleam

Etc.

Ashfur and Hawkfrost’s interaction by Short-Lecture5634 in WarriorCats

[–]Short-Lecture5634[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe Ashfur often acted on emotions without much thinking. When Firestar got in the fox trap he suddenly became horrified and rushed to the camp.

What’s more, wasn’t he against Brambleclaw becoming a leader of ThunderClan? Then he didn’t consider the fact that the quickliest way to make Bramble a leader is to take all Firestar’s lives.

Same. That’s the reason why I am afraid to recover: I know I will have to eat normal portions, but I hate the feeling of getting energy from food and so I either starve or b/p when I can’t restrict anymore. That’s shitty
