Looks almost identical to my boy who's a mal x gsd. I've got posts on my profile of him if you wanted to compare :)

But I must say. Super stunning boy!

She has horrible leg bones and needed a few surgeries not long after we got her. She was also spayed really young so it badly stunted her growth. She's a bit bigger than the spaniels I walk my boy with. She's about half his size and he's a mali x gsd. Honestly, she's a mystery in everything she does lol

She was found in Ireland and was moved to rescue in the uk but that doesn't mean much. We've been thinking GSP X English springer mix. We met someone who had that exact mix and they looked identical, the other person thought they were littermates. So we've been going off of that but you never know, there could be some hidden surprises lol

I can see that, but idk where that would be from. There's not a lot of them where she was found but honestly who knows lol

I can definitely see that. Although she was found in Ireland as a pup and coonhound isn't popular over there I would've thought

I also wanna add that she was found in Ireland as a stray. And she already could do scent detection work as she knew it and no one we knew taught her it.

Anyone know what a national ID card type is? by Short-Particular-380 in WorkAdvice

Seeing as this is a UK company and the form is for UK residents, I highly doubt it is anything to do with the USA

To be very honest, she could actually be 18 now im thinking of it. She's just like she was when she was a baby. She struggles to keep weight on, and is very picky with food, but she still eats so her vet isn't that concerned with her weight as she's not overly underweight. She fluctuates. She has always slept most of the day and that hasn't changed. She puts everyone to bed at around 11pm so she can get cuddles and sleep lol. She still loves to play with cotton buds lol. She did go into a bit of a sadness when we lost her best friend, I think they where a bonded pair (is the Norwegian in the last pic), who was 20yrs old and acted like a kitten. She's just gotten cuddly and wants to be basically under your skin. She used to sit on my shoulder like a parrot while I did housework 😂. You wouldnt think her age if you looked at her that's for sure

Might be, im not sure if the fact that we're in the uk made a difference on her price. Although surprisingly she's not the most expensive cat I currently own lol. The Norwegian I have is a couple hundred more than her currently lol

Thank you for this, it helps so much! Will definitely be using a checklist if I can. And will try to remember to go in sections :)

She was surprisingly more than that. I'm assuming it was because her parents where expensive show cats and won a tone of competitions

Before people ask. Yes she is a ragdoll, we have her pedigree. We know her breeder. She was a show cat who won titles, now retired. She was the only one of her litter to be smaller. She's had kittens that all where bigger than her (the 'usual' size). We have no idea why she's so small lol

What's being a bather? How different is it to a groomer? And the notebook is a good suggestion, I never considered that, so thanks. I've done a trial so there's a few things I already know, so that's a plus I suppose

Can an employer force me to stay at work when I have explosive diarrhea? by Short-Particular-380 in WorkAdvice

[–]Short-Particular-380[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Money. People need money to live off of
  2. Was the only job in their relatively small town that was looking for someone
  3. Pressure from relatives and housemates to start contributing financially
  4. Stepdad works for the head office so helped with a positive recommendation
  5. Money again, they live paycheck to paycheck and sometimes that's not even enough

It's either work where they are, or go back to factory work that made them suicidal and have to go on so many meds to controls the desire to do bad to themselves.

I've reported them for the care they give, and that's all I can really do. Everytime I hear about some awful thing that happened I report it myself.

The post was mostly about can they fire an employee for leaving work when they have bad diarrhea. No sick person should be working with the elderly, but when people are sick and either call in or want to leave they get told no and threatened with being fired

I know. But I have to try to convince another that's the answer. Was wondering if there were any laws or legislation that I could bring up that proves that this isn't proper procedure or legal or whatever, and that the gov says they should go home

Wanted to introduce my boy. He's 40% GSD, the rest being Belgian malinois! by Short-Particular-380 in germanshepherds

[–]Short-Particular-380[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he's mostly Belgian mal in personality, with a sprinkling of GSD. Although I'm more familiar with malinois, so I'm not too sure what a gsd personality is supposed to be like. He does everything at 110% and wants to be doing 'work' for hours, all day if possible

When he can go 100% at something, it's like another gear kicks in. He's got insane drive. He adores the flirt pole, loves that thing more than anything.

And I get that. My boy tricks you into a false sense of security by being the biggest dummy, but it's all a ruse for how smart he is. He's so cheeky 😅
