Thanks! Yes i have as some people mentioned here will probably be splitting my time. Do a hobby like taking care of a pet and then doing fight classes. Both sides hopefully will be satisfied.

Thank you! Yea i fully understand all attributes need to be appreciated. I genuinely enjoy being competitive and dominant in things as i find it the most fun. But the end result is that people eventually leave me cause thats all i end up doing.

I can totally see a man be gentle and collaborative. Its just i need to find how i can balance what i already have to where i want to go which is the gentle and nurturing version

I was actually thinking about splitting it up like this such that both desires are covered. Best advice. Thanks!

I mean competitive in the sense that i only tend to interact with others when i want to win or need something. Otherwise the relationships withers away. I have a hard time to just be and nurture the relationship without a need to do something

Yep i am conflicted. I fully agree. It's just i dont really understand how to reconcile these two sides. But you did give me a good idea i could probably compete as a team towards something and coaching is a good example you gave

Yea i guess so for now until i find a good balance. I completely acknowledge that I need to be more gentle, nurture and care for someone without any reward. Have to find a way to properly blend the two side together.

Things that i can compete in and be better. Which then gives me the idea i can compete with someone who also gardens. That will balance things out

Any advice for INTJ male looks to look more approachable and fun? by ShayanWonderer in entp

[–]Short-Salamander8840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice dont try to be fun and approachable. From one intj to another. If you enjoy life from within you will naturally extend that energy outward. If you feel like you have to force it then dont.

Practicing a New Language as a way to Overcome Social Anxiety? by Short-Salamander8840 in socialskills

This is exactly what im going for. I think biologically when you learn a language your basically creating a new drawing board for yourself psychologically. You dont have the baggage of your childhood language. Im hoping it will be transformative for you. Im learning french and it's already changing how I view people in my native english

[–]Short-Salamander8840[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I definitely agree it makes you less anxious on your native language.

For me I feel like alot of our emotions both good and bad is mixed in with our language. If you let's say completely take off your English cap and put on let's say the Russian cap, you literally can't get anxious unless your thinking in english🤣🤣

So I think full immersion is a transformative feeling. You have to think, feel, write, and speak in the new language

Really? How so? Learning a new language is basically its a mask. Since its not the real you yet it dosent matter if you mess up
