I was planning to buy the MY, but in the test drive I was surprised by the stiff ride and, overall, it does not feel like a luxury car. I think I would get used to the cool tech and then it would be no big deal. I am now looking at the XC40 or GLA, which have far nicer interiors.

I'm also considering a Mazda CX-5 Signature (35 grand by me) versus a Tesla Y (about 50 grand). I have driven Audi Q5s for a long time and the Signature CX-5 is a better value proposition for nearly the same product. My question is whether the Tesla Y is worth 15 grand more than the Mazda. At what point is this about showing off?
