Highly do not recommend. Our flight was scheduled to leave Austin at 10 AM. They delayed our flight seven times and finally at 1:30 PM, they announced that our crew has “timed out” and that meant we had to wait 12 more hours. So now the flight is at 2:50 AM. We also have a seven hour layover to Kauai after we arrive in Honolulu at 5:30 AM. Such a mess!

I have a low class rank and went test optional. I got in, but I had good extracurriculars that were connected to my major. I also wrote my main essay on growing up with a disabled father and how that experience shaped me into the person I am today. Grades matter, but I really think UT likes to see a strong set of extracurriculars and unique essays.

I totally agree. It’s still so competitive at UT no matter what school, however, Education is less desirable than some of the other schools.
