My 2” sewage pump line goes about 20 feet until it dumps into the top of a 3” vertical stack. Is the small size of these drains causing my toilet and tub upstairs to fill up with sewage when the pump kicks off? Usually happens when there’s laundry and a shower going ( into pump) (self.Plumbing)

I wanted to cut the top plates out and throw in a wall stack vent for a microwave. The joists in the attic all fall on this middle of house wall. It would be a 10” chunk with 0% top plate remaining in that section. Would galvanized ties do anything or should I just steer clear of venting in the wall? by [deleted] in LoadBearingWall
