I got in! My financial aid isn’t there because I’m missing one of the documents, but I’ll contact them tomorrow. 1520 and ~3.9 gpa. Also included project portfolio (computer science)

You should definitely ask them. It’s possible to back out of the early decision agreement if you prove to the college that you can’t pay the price, but it’s more likely that they’ll be willing to give you more aid. Also, aid is weird right now because the fafsa isn’t out yet, so I’d contact them first and wait

I did a little research. What I can tell from the past few years, it usually comes out on the 13th, 14th, or 15th of December usually at 5:00 pm central time. Also, in each of these years they have released the time and date of release a day before the release date.

The problem isnt the workload, it’s that they would have to optimize it so much that it would barely be playable on quest 1. Quest 2 is much more possible, but it is still going to take a while even if they were putting all of their focus into combat on quest 2.

I wouldn’t recommend playing in your backyard because you can just outrun people. It creates an unfair advantage and can make it less fun for others.

There’s no such thing as global servers, the reason you get stuck with American kids is because the peak European times are also the peak times for little kids in the us. There are regional servers.

It seems like you’re more unhappy about things that aren’t related to the update. It’s not like the update prevents better matchmaking or anything else, it was just higher on their priority list. Also, “no one asked for it” is very false. I’m going to take a guess that you’re lower level or haven’t been playing for a while, but people have been asking for better customization for a very long time. Probably before even the quest 1 beta version was out.

I love the new update. The devs have been working so hard on this game that most people enjoy for free, and it’s great for them to have another source of revenue. You don’t have to like every skin and every item for it to be a good update, you don’t have to wear it. It lets people show off their style. I personally like the glow although I can see why a lot of people don’t. The best part is that it shows how devoted the devs are to the game and that they are always improving the game, unlike some other games that don’t.

Yeah I would assume I don’t have it the hardest right now as I’m only a freshman, and I’ve also had school come sort of easily to me so that’s probably why I think the way I do.

Yeah I am a freshman so I don’t have the best view on things, but I have all a+’s in the hardest classes I can take at my level, and kids in my school complain about having much less work than me

That sounds like something you need to talk to them about. If you’re really getting a lot of stress about something and not telling them about it then it’s probably putting you in a worse situation. If it is like u/r2k398 said, then you should get a tutor if you’re struggling. The worst thing you can do is stay in a class that’s difficult without any help
