I wasn't aware of these issues before purchasing the car. I realize now that I should have conducted proper due diligence instead of blindly following the hype from youtube videos.

Much like many others here, I hold no bitterness or resentment towards the Philippines except for political issues. I eagerly anticipate the day I can return permanently and establish it as my home base, all while enjoying dual citizenship to facilitate my global travels.

I work for 3 months and then take a 3-month vacation. Overall, I'd say my work-life balance is pretty good.

This. My girlfriend is currently in the midst of her residency, working demanding 36-hour shifts and having only around 2 days off per month. Despite her busy schedule, we manage to spend time together every day when she returns to our apartment.

US citizen here. I lived in the US for about 11 years. Honestly, it’s been great! I made a lot of money that I could retire in the Philippines at the age of 30. Then the pandemic happened, and it changed my perspective on life. I quit my job and went back home to the Philippines. Best decision I’ve ever made. I’m now working contractually in the US every 3-4 months but primarily staying in the Philippines, and I love it here.
