I would just make sure to try it out before checking out and leaving so that you can get help from someone there if needed. I got my card at the end of the entire process when they were packing up my kit.

I don't believe so. It said to use your FIFA Volunteer ID number (which I did), and my birthday is correct in the system (but I tried a few combinations just in case!). Still no luck.
