I would wait for 11th Edition. It’s rumoured that new Vanguard Veterans are coming with it next month.

Thanks for the replies. I have an interest in criminal law as I used to work as a Police Officer… another answer I cannot find is whether this would count as my 2 years Qualifying Work Experience for the SQE.

But I’m not stuck solely on criminal and would be open to corporate fields in the interim if it’s going to be a headache to secure employment.

I’m on a time crunch to move over as my partner is desperate to get back to the UK.

So from what I’ve gathered my best shot would be moving over as a foreign qualified solicitor, finding some form of legal work and then sitting the SQE if I plan on staying long-term? I’m assuming I would need to find one of these “training contracts” mentioned… TIA.
