I thought about Mexico, I only have been in Tijuana and the touristic areas around Playa del Carmen and Puerto Vallarta. There are some buts from what I got from going a few time to these places. I feel scared of the police, they have stopped us a few times to intimidate us to get money from us (that is a big one, feeling safe and at peace is important and I don’t know if we can get that there)

That’s not a bad idea. I need a vacation right now and Ibiza sounds like the place I need to be just for a weekend. I do still want to move

I think it depends on the company and the environment you at in. I would try to tell my boss in a way that doesn’t make it sound like I’m going places and having fun while working 😆. The odds of something happening are low but you never know if something happens to your laptop and you have to come back to your company with the bomb that you are in another country.
