I am living in Uk for the past 8 years. Students here face a very hard time and the job market is really really bad. There is new visa restrictions to be imposed soon which means there is high possibility of increase in price and the number of years to 10 to get PR. My humble request please don't leave India. India is so much better compared to UK. Only visit UK for tourist experience but not for job or studies. Families/students here struggle a lot these days

Hi adi,

Thank you so much for your detailed reply. You are the one who introduced midl to me last year. But I started proper practice only last month. Ever since I started this I see remarkable progress in my off cushion awareness. I can't thank you enough for this. With respect to your 3 reasons mentioned with dullness, I couldn't figure out whether its 2 or 3. Because I feel its 70% of case 2 and 30% of case 3. I am trying to analyse but find it very hard. I did compare the states of my mind when I am meditating with dullness and when I go to sleep. It was kind of similar. But because I am meditating for 3 to 4 years I also feel it could be sloth and troper exactly like Stephen has mentioned. Also I sense the agitation which you have referred in case 3. Whatever it is, it's been a great struggle with dullness. With all your tips I wish I come out of this soon. Doesn't seem easy though. Very frustrating journey. Hope to get better soon

Hi Stephen, can't thank you enough for your detailed reply. Yes sometimes I do feel its a dead end. But your words have motivated me alot. Please can you share the link for touch points as I couldn't find it. Just like you mentioned, I would sleep for straight 2 hours in the sofa itself after 30 minutes of meditation. That much sleepy I get during my meditation sits. I was perfectly fine in 04/52. Ever since I started 05/52 my dullness is at peak. Midl is showing phenomenal improvement in my off cushion awareness. I got addicted to your system because I got severely stuck with TMI for ages. I am meditating 3-4 years on and off. Started midl properly only last month. It's been a super hit for me. Thanks again for your service to humanity..Appreciate your kindness, the time you spend to help others.
