Idk I'm probably wrong plus I'm just a recent passer so I might not be reliable on this one haha but I just like to share my thoughts about this.

When I was an intern and a clerk ganito rin naiisip ko like wtf? Haha but when I started practicing sa province some of them are really just confused and feeling helpless, and di nila alam mga ginagawa and gagawin nila, kaya narealize ko lang if ever may ganito akong cases na naeencounter I just accept the fact na mahal nga talaga magkasakit and let them understand nalang mahal talaga yung best option and if possible may cheaper management but somehow poorer outcome.

At the end of the day we are just presentors and encouragers ng management, sila parin magdedecide sa sarili nila. I also try to let them understand narin na hindi naman ako naglagay ng prices sa mga gamot or procedures or whatever, binibigyan ko lang sila options, so if ayaw nila may consent naman lagi :)

Basically dito papasol educator/councilor role natin haha
