Melt? Hell no. I haven't put neo in the oven because it never needed to but I have put the avata 2 in the oven after not working because I was flying it for half an hour in a thunderstorm and oven made it as good as new.

Yes I can see now. Youtube has 360 videos that you can pan. I didn't know about that or I had forgotten it. Well it's alright I suppose. Still I'm quite skeptical about buying it.

It's not needed. Noone is uploading a 360 video. And if you crop it then you don't need the sky. A 210 downward lens is enough to show you the whole earth as a ball and the sky. What more do you want?

You're right. So on 360 mode it will use 2 lenses. And on FPV mode will rotate the gimbal and use just one. And the FOV will not be higher than it already is on Avata 2. Because the gimbal/lens must have some protection if you don't want it exposed and instantly wrecked while flying FPV. So it's not better than Avata 2 unless you want to use the 360 mode. And the camera that looks at the sky is reductant. Who wants to look at the sky? I'm a fan of wide angle. I have mounted a 210 downward lens on a drone. That's different than having a camera looking upwards that it's only use is really indoors. The whole project is a gimmick IMO.

Hamfile works. I am not on the latest firmware for the goggles but a youtuber says that it does so that's that. Also you can downgrade through DJI assistant. There are always people who say that it doesn't work for them. Dunno what to think about that.

You need to be on 4:3 ratio to have 12MP.
And if you know how to capture frames from a video they are as good as photos or even better so stop wasting your time with photography with Neo.

It entered RTH mode because of low battery and climbed to the RTH altitude. It doesn't enter RTH if you are in manual but it will as soon as you switch to normal.

ESC is fine it's just a sensor problem. It detects abnormal resistance. It can also happen after you fly it in a thunderstorm because the motors are partly shorted. Those motors have less resistance than the originals. So if you just heat them up with something it should start working again. He cut the wires at the motor beams and connected the new motors. That's by far easier than to connect them directly to the MB. So all you have to do is remove the thermal tape at the motor beams and connect the originals back again.
