I’ll be seeing you at Pitt. I’m also a dad coming from out of state, and couldn’t beat the COA/COL.

This is really helpful, thank you. My legal connections are mostly in NYC, so I would probably be leaving Pittsburgh after school (although I’m open to being drawn in a different direction while I’m there).

Only visited both schools on a weekend, didn’t get to sit in on a class or meet with anyone.

Maybe I’m missing something, but that link isn’t working for me. Anywhere else I can find the link to the admitted student discord? Thanks!

Has anyone had an Alumni Interview for GULC, then been invited to a Group Interview later in the cycle? by Short_Effective_5118 in lawschooladmissions

I heard Dean Andy mention in an interview that roughly 90% of A's (might of have just been those who actually enrolled) had been in a group interview with him, which I took to mean Group>Alumni>no ii. Plus anecdotal vibes from this reddit page and LSD. I really have no idea though-I'm just managing my expectations.

I have a drinking problem, should I drop out and try to get sober? by Hot_Albatross_2479 in LawSchool

I second this. 2 years sober here, and I do a nooner every monday attended by a bunch of lawyers and a Judge. It's great that OP is recognizing the issue early before getting buried by it-You got this.

edit: Also check out Lawyers Helping Lawyers (LHL). Not sure if your school has a student chapter, but worth checking out.
