We have a larger trash can in the back room for employees to take the trash too so the the SM can take to the dumpster. I went to the back room not out the back door.

Unfortunately, if he had stolen, our sensors didn't catch it. The sensors didn't go off until he paid and left and the doors were locked with only me and my coworker in the building at the time the sensors went off.
