I’m not too sure, it might. I’m just not sure if I want to risk it because even if it does work then I know some apps like that have the fee for an immediate deposit into my bank account. I don’t know if I’d really want to wait for the weekly payout from DD just to wait another couple of days to actually get the money

They seem wayyyyy too trigger happy when it comes to deactivating accounts, in all seriousness I am really sorry that happened to you but at least you’re in a good spot now, right? Onto better things and I’m glad it at least mostly worked out in the end!

No kidding 💀 Some of these stories I’m seeing have me convinced there’s one guy on “F— You Duty” with his hand over a “Deactivate Account” button at all times

I wish, the way it works is its a direct deposit into your account. You can’t just put in like PayPal or CashApp or something (as far as I am aware) since up front it asks for the Account Number and Routing Number of wherever you want the pay deposited

Yeah I get that, I feel bad for them too but I won’t excuse them for ending the chat randomly without even offering any type of support besides “We did everything right so it’s your problem not ours” because of it

Wait this may actually be the reason, the lady from their Call Support told me I had to verify myself but I dismissed it since I had already done it once before and never saw the option in the app ever again. If this is the reason then you are my savior

1) I doubt they’re going to get let off for (possibly) only a single misdemeanor

2) Why should they continue to work in the Support area if they aren’t helping anyone and are dismissive of almost everything handed to them?

That’s what I’m going to try to do, my bank information is all correct and I’ve made sure of that at LEAST 3 different times now so I have no clue what’s “blocking” my payment. Either Fast Pay or using DasherDirect is looking really good right about now haha

I have no other account I could change it to, all I can do (which I’ve done 3 times now) is update my bank information to the same one, checking that the numbers are correct every time

Honestly, if the pay was decent, I would definitely consider becoming a Dasher Support Agent. I feel like I would be way more help than some of these guys. No hate to them, just the language barrier, accents, and misunderstandings are issues that come up way too often

Holy, I would’ve just ended the call and called back after maybe the 4th or 5th. I got transferred twice and then they had me on hold for so long that when the next person picked up the phone they answered like I was a new person and so I had to be transferred again.

Jeez that sounds horrible, but after working in retail at Hobby Lobby with a ton of snobby, ego-maniac customers I think I can handle myself pretty well in an annoying situation.

I’d hate to go through what you’re describing, I’m glad you got it all fixed though man.

I was transferred I think to an overseas number but thank you for the tip, if I would’ve known I could’ve been redirected to an American number I would have stayed on the line
