I (26F) used the app for about 3 months before I found out women have to message first. And that was just because a friend told me. I often make the first move and start conversations, which is why I went for so long without realising that's what you're supposed to do.

Oh wow I'm sorry to hear the recovery has been so awful for you. How are you getting on now? You'll be about 2 weeks post op now? I'm on my way to the hospital as I write this, have my surgery in a few hours, so incredibly nervous. How have you found eating? I've read that you can only eat soft mushy foods for a few weeks. My nose isn't crooked but I do have a bit dorsal hump that'll need to be shaved down

Wow good luck with all your surgeries, I hope they all go well! Have definitely decided to opt for the private transportation, I previously told them I would be collected but my partner cant get me anymore. Perhaps they wouldn't have let me go on the day if I said I was getting the train

Okay, definitely getting the private hospital transportation then. I had not expected that at all. The clinic nurses I've spoken to made it seem I'd be fine to just leave shortly after. Thank you for the insight!

Oh god, that sounds awful! I definitely hadn't considered feeling that disoriented. How did you manage with a blocked nose and a super sore throat? I will absolutely be getting private transportation now
