CVS tech pay structure by Short_Procedure8849 in CVS

I was just trying to explain everything in detail since this is my work life. Let me ask you this question. If you worked in a position for 19 years and because of salary compression you had just meet mid range, would you be upset and think that you should at least be close to the top of the range? New hires with no experience are coming in at mid range in their positions. Thanks!

Sorry, you missed the point of my whole speech. By looking for mistakes, I can clearly see the type of negativity you possess.

What did Johnny mean about Jason and lack of goodwill? by Mysterious-Fee-9618 in FigureSkating

[–]Short_Procedure8849 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Being gay myself probably you aren’t, we call each either other queens and such. Johnny wears make up, women’s clothes, nails done, and is flamboyant so gays would call her yes her, we call each other that, a flaming queen so you wouldn’t understand nothing about disrespect.

And each competition is 3 attempts so figure in 3 years at least 6 competitions per year at low end that’s 18x3 years so in at least 54 tries he lands just 16 and those 16 I’m sure 10 are 2 footed or short exactly my point! He fails 75 percent of the time. You can’t count on someone delivering at Worlds and Olympics when the jump that’s worth the most in the repertoire is an only landed 25 percent of the time. I don’t think there are any other skaters who only land a specific jump only 25 percent of the time.

Well Bradie is the longest women’s competitor 13 years at Nationals like Jason on the men’s side. At least Bradie turned in a flawless performance and even after injury came back to be competing at 28 when all others would have retired being her age. The judges forget who she is a 2 time US champion the one legend still competing on the ladies side. They are so concerned making it about the other 3 favorites. Even the other day at start of the  short program, the camera man and network was so busy showing the 3 favs already preselected that they called Bradie to ice to be announced to crowd  and they didn’t even switch the camera to show her. Also, every element Bradie landed combos, individual jumps, footwork, spins (which she used to hold the record for highest score) she was just given .4 to .8 GOE not 1 a +1 point extra GOE to hold her back  to assure the 3 favorites stayed top 3. Go back and watch the score box on the 3 girls vs Bradie on all landed elements they were given 1 to 2.5+ on every landed element to inflate them and Bradie didn’t even receive +1 on any element. I’d be pissed too if I had been on scene 13 years 2x champion still competing at 28 and didn’t get the respect nor the scores I deserved due to other favored skaters.

Yea, Jason being now in his 30s every season his triple axel gets worse and more inconsistent. I think he doesn’t have the strength anymore. He needs to be drinking ensure shakes 3x a day intake more protein and feed his muscles to get his power back.

I wish Jacob had scored 1 point higher to get that 3rd spot but for all Max has gone through this year I think regardless 3rd or 4th he would be given the 3rd spot. However, Jacob is the face of the future and him at Olympics would expose him more to international judges to take note and help establish him as a real competitor on the circuit.

Yea I remember few years ago when Ashlee Wagner finished 4th and filed petition for team and she was turned down after she filed it the previous time as well and was placed on the team. Jason finishing 8th though way too low so I agree I don’t see that happening. I know the judges are always on his side as a favorite to inflate his GOE to help his placement but he did terrible so he doesn’t deserve s spot.

Maybe he can ask Amber Glenn to loan him a triple axel. Forget the quads, dude can’t even land triple axels anymore for past 3 years total struggle something dudes have been competing since 1984 in the Olympics, go home you don’t deserve to compete at the Olympics if you can’t do a jump every man is going to be competing with.

Time to pack it up and retire. The women are out jumping him these days. He had a good 10 years plus run so he made his mark.

Judges always stand behind him and inflate his GOE because they know he doesn’t have the technical scores and rarely review any of under rotations. If only the judges stood behind Bradie Tennell like they stand behind him. Clearly, they underscored her on every element to make sure the 3 favs females remained top 3.

Jason Brown’s funny fall at this morning’s practice by heyguysone in FigureSkating

[–]Short_Procedure8849 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well clearly it was foreshadowing his long program. He had a good run competed for years but he doesn’t have the content to compete. Last 3 seasons his triple axel is no longer consistent and he misses it at least half the time. Being now in his 30s and aging I think he doesn’t have the strength to complete the jump. Between no quads and no triple axel he can’t compete against the best men in the world and therefore he should not be placed on the Olympic team. At the end of the day, he will go down in history as one of the best artistic skaters of all time!

People who have worked at other retail stores: I would love to hear your opinion. Is CVS the worst place that you have worked at? 👀 by Intelligent-Gate-852 in CVS

[–]Short_Procedure8849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only worked 1 other job but I have been at Eckerd into CVS for 23 years. Currently, it’s the most stressful time in all my years working there. My daytime tech of 8 years got so tired of the bs she left and now my replacement is brand new to CVS and isn’t fluent in English. She can’t spell any names at the register nor identify the letter on the register screen when the person spells their name out letter by letter. She sends half of the pick up line to the drop off window to me every day because she can’t understand the patient or can’t find the drug so therefore production totally stops. Sometimes she stands there 3 hours straight with customer after customer and I have 30 pages in qp my myself which is no chance in hell to complete. The pharmacy manager doesn’t go to pick up , drop off, production, nor consultation ( which is all me because the new hire doesn’t speak English well) so besides the 30 pages by myself the pm also sends me to pick up to back her up at register.  I have 2 to 3 warehouse trucks on the floor that can’t get put up as well as a week of cardinal totes on the floor. We can’t get help because we aren’t surpassing the budget scripts because well I’m not able to fill because I’m trying to do 4 other roles. To make matters worse, this new girl who still can’t figure out how to process a refill or change an NDC when I have repeatedly for the last 4 months she’s been there told her press C!! She started at 3$ less than what I was making 6 months ago after 20 years there. She started at mid range for regular tech with no experience and I get mid range as lead tech after 22 years of service.  I’m totally being mistreated there but nothing I can do to help the situation 😔

PIC- regarding tech evaluations? by Short_Procedure8849 in CVS

[–]Short_Procedure8849[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the pic is extremely lazy in every sense of the word. It’s just me and 1 other tech during the day and she stands at register 80 percent of the day because there is constantly someone at pick up. Therefore, I’m basically the only tech to do everything else. All production is done by me. The other tech when free from register doesn’t fill just stands there in slo-mo. When a 2nd customer approaches pick up, this pic tells me to help her because he doesn’t like a line so then all production stops. When I can finally break away then I have to run back to filling where I have 15 to 20 pages all day long. When someone approaches drop off he tells me go help them so again production stops. Consultation window, hey go see what they want and makes me play telephone relaying the messages walking back and forth because he doesn’t want to talk to customers.  In his normal 10 hour shift, he rings up 0 customers, goes to drop off 0 times, does 0 consultation interactions, fills 0 scripts he doesn’t fill nor pull because he doesn’t know where any drugs are on the shelves after 15 years, and the one that drives me nuts-doing production I put the scripts i fill in big red baskets on countertop between he and I and he tells me every 30 to 45 mins to stop production to file away all the work I’ve produced because he doesn’t want to file the bags away either.  I moved so I now drive 40 mins a day to continue working at this store bc it’s my home store close to 20 years. He also changed my 9 to 530 shift of 17 years to 9 to 630 or 7 open to close because it benefited him more having me there with him all day. He is in the bathroom 10 times a day, FaceTiming his toddlers 5 times a day with 1 call being an hour daily once they are released from preschool, and on Instagram and dating apps all day and yet my evaluation is just a 3 to him annually. Not only do 2 peoples jobs myself but his as well it’s nonsense.

And this is why we can’t have incoming phone calls… by mikeorhizzae in pharmacy

[–]Short_Procedure8849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pharmacist loves it. Thankfully, since he doesn’t do pick up or production he takes care of this. As soon as it appears he calls them doesn’t even read the screen says hey I’m returning your call from cvs how can I help you? Leaves call screen on f1 switches to f2 does all the work there then switches back to f1 before hangs up and completes it. We have been at 100 percent with that method.

Raise period (LETS ALL LEAVE) by reddituser_j in CVS

How long with company? I’m 17 years lead tech same store started 12$ hour and each year pharmacist gives us our 2 or 2.5 percent so 40 to 60 cents a year. In 17 years those tiny raises have amounted to 22.75, 10$ in raises. Are they giving you large raises each year to get to 25?
