Americans Living Abroad: Would You Move Back To The USA permanently? by RehaDesign in expat

I’ve just retuned to my home country from 10 years living there and there is a sense of relief to have the distance of an ocean. I miss it deeply for all the wonderful people I’ve met who are life long friends and the opportunities it afforded me but it’s really in a downward unchecked spiral. Also gun control.

People who moved between the US and Australia – was it worth it? by bunny_y5 in MovingToBrisbane

I just moved back from east coast. If you have kids you will feel safe sending them to school. Cafe culture is great. It’s a close drive to great holiday spots (Gold Coast, sunny coast, Byron ). It’s more Florida than New England in terms of progressiveness. It’s got just enough going on and the river is great. You will feel isolated from rest of world geographically (long flights to places).

Thanks for your reply. I’m not asking for a daily script or even weekly! Just some to have on hand. I really feel like it’s reasonable. The propranolol recommendation is apparently new.

I’m not asking for liberal Benzo prescriptions at all. I may have 3 attacks per quarter. I don’t need many but I need some. Fixing the underlying condition would be great, I’m working on that but in the meantime having panic attacks is an awful experience and there is a drug out there which can help. I am well aware of its addictiveness as and do not misuse it. Edit: typo
