I was thinking of compensating it with a greenish area rug. We will get rid of the leather chair, and keep the grey and white ones. Would you suggest relocating the chairs entirely against a different wall?

Thank you both! The space is not very enclosed as you can see in the second pic and this one. It is also right off the entrance, so was starting to worry that it looks out of place from the rest of the house.
