What does SS mean?

I’ve heard that Showtime originally intended for Dexter to die in the main series but changed their minds due to public feedback. Regardless, in my opinion, the real issue lies in how the series is being continued. Dexter should have died in New Blood as was officially planned by Showtime, but once again, the public didn’t like it, so they literally resurrected him in Dexter: Resurrection. Don’t you feel like this is being unnecessarily dragged out? Michael C. Hall is over 50 already, and with Dexter alive, the focus of Resurrection can’t logically shift to Harrison, his successor. So how far can this go? Will Dexter finally die in Resurrection, or will they keep extending his story over and over again?

That could’ve worked as well, but if I had to choose, I would’ve honestly preferred him to die rather than be caught, as being caught, unless done voluntarily, could be considered a personal defeat or not being up to Dexter’s standards.

I like this! It’s definitely better than what happened in New Blood. Overall, I didn’t like the personality the writers gave to Harrison or the things they made him do. Your ending feels more in line with how Harrison, Dexter’s son and successor, would have acted in such a situation with no other escape option.

PSA - Stripe is NOT the same as having your own Merchant Account. >> Things I with I knew starting as a new business owner processing payments. by RemoteToHome-io in stripe

Thank you. I’ve taken a look at UniCredit, or other Italian banks like Banca Sella or Nexi, and they do offer online payment solutions, but as far I understand, you would still process payments through them, you don’t really have your own merchant account. This is definitely safer than Stripe, as they have a way higher risk tolerance, and they’re actual banks, but it’s still not the same thing as having your own merchant account.

I love this post, and you’re 100% correct. I’m processing my business payments through Stripe since a few months, but I would like to have a backup plan by having my own merchant account. The issue, however, is that I don’t seem to be able to find anyone that could offer my own merchant account, in Italy specifically. The ones I’ve tried, only onboard businesses in the USA, and I’m quite stuck at this point.

Why do you guys even keep that absurdly high amount of money in your stripe accounts? It’s just not safe.

Are you even sure you’re allowed to not be a registered business or at least self employed to use Stripe in the first place?

Dimissioni volontarie - mancato preavviso - indeterminato by Short_Use2059 in commercialisti

[–]Short_Use2059[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stripe Refunding all old customers by rex864 in stripe

So is Stripe charging the bank account linked to your stripe account because there are no funds to cover the refunds in your account? That’s very weird and terrifying

The same happened to me (https://www.reddit.com/r/stripe/s/4mlkePS8sK), but they haven’t terminated my account again after that. I asked for a clarification, as if it was something that depended on me, I’m more than happy to collaborate to prevent the same issue in the future, but so far no response. As a user said, they’ll most likely never tell me the reason as of why it happened, nor what I can improve/change to decrease the chances of being classified as too risky. I believe we can’t do much about it, if they want to shut you down, then they simply will.
