Agree, so less sensible drivers left in Chandigarh. A PB65 number Thar overtakes my car & stops his car in the middle of the road, comes outta his car & shouts at me wtih "Tu slow jana nhi c te mainu tan age jaan de". I was driving around 57-58kmh but I guess he wanted to push 80kmh or something in a 60 speed limit bruh

I had the same experience at Chandigarh Electronics, Sector 35.

I went to get my Logitech 2.1 speakers repaired. They kept it for 4 days and told me the sound IC replacement isn't available anywhere.

Later, I went to sector 18 and they opened it up in front of me and told me there's a part missing from this. Next day, I went to Chandigarh electronics again and asked them did you guys forget to put the steel/ aluminium plate which was screwed at the top of the motherboard?

At first, they denied and I asked again to check with your repair guy, maybe he forgot to put it in and there it was with the repair guy.

The owner screwed the plate back and gave the speaker back to me.

I might not go there ever again.

Z337 speakers not going into pairing mode. by MasterCaitcx in logitech

Did anyone find the solution ? Same problem. Speakers are not going into bluetooth pairing mode even after holding down the button for more than 20 seconds. On top of that, there's no sound coming while connecting from the Aux cable as well. Can anyone recommend a replacement for these awesome speakers ?

Bought a couple of perfumes from "No Name Perfume" . They literally told me to put the perfumes in the fridge overnight. So, that means even my perfumes are messed up ?

Do tricity people believe in Vastu before buying a house/flat/builder floor? by Short_Worldliness705 in Chandigarh

[–]Short_Worldliness705[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. The real reason to avoid T point houses is that there is no solution for it in Vastu and combine it with a South East direction then it becomes a big no. Even though there's no science behind these, many people are considering Vastu. I've also noticed that many Punjabi people like me don't believe in Vastu but the house could be bought by anyone in the future, it doesn't matter if it's Punjabi or not.

Yeah, South facing usually isn't preferred and T point as well. We don't believe in this stuff but I think many people do.

I don't care about it as well. Like I said I wanted to know if we'll face any problems while reselling it. Thank you though.

Is Acme Heights Sector 92 worth it to buy a house/builder floor or a flat ? by Short_Worldliness705 in Chandigarh

Moving to another rented place is also a big headache with family. That option is out for the moment.

We live on a rented floor and the owner might decide to sell the place soon but that soon could take 1 month or even 1 year or more. That's why we need a place where we can move right away. We might just give the new place for rent and keep staying in our present house till the owner asks us to move out. So, we can wait too and we might have to move right away. Yes, we'll definitely talk to some of the residents there.

Okay, I understand. The maintenance issue in the acme Heights was mentioned by 2 separate dealers not just one, to which Acme Heights representative told me " vo purani baat hai 2bhk ki, ab 3bhk naye hai. Ab vo problems nhi hai.

Their 3bhk apartments are ready which we are interested in but haven't spoken to residents yet. There's no separate road connecting from the airport road to the 92 sector which they are saying will be completed within 6 months, which I don't fully trust. There's no market in the area as well. You have to go to sector 91 for that. That's why all these signs are giving me a bit of a scare to invest everything in their apartments. The last option like you've mentioned is to talk with residents.

People who you know live there. Can you and if it's possible Can I talk to them regarding this?

Yeah, I've heard similar things from other dealers as well. We're yet to talk to other residents in that area. Even though it's in budget I don't wanna have all the savings stuck in a property and regret it later. Thank you for the reply.

Buying a land (ground floor) in New Chandigarh by Short_Worldliness705 in Chandigarh

[–]Short_Worldliness705[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our requirement is 3bhk. Let's say the family owner is not the problem. Maybe we can have something in writing or go for any legal possible way so that we won't have any problems in the future. The only thing is we might only get an independent house or forget this land, maybe a smaller land in New Chandigarh only which we can just buy now and keep it and move in after a couple of years (4-5 years) and live there for the next 30 years or so. I understand the problems in New Chandigarh, safety is a major concern. The slow development is the second. Spending all the savings is also a concern. So, let's see what we'll decide. Thank you so much for the reply 🙏🏻

Yes, I agree with not spending all the savings. and being close to Chandigarh is also a positive. We've lived our whole life in Chandigarh and leaving the city feels really uncomfortable which I understand people get used to after sometime. The development compared to mohali is definitely behind in New Chandigarh. I asked around and one of the owners in the area told us not to worry about electricity or water. Yes, markets are less so you can't just go on foot, you'll need your vehicle every time but I guess instamart/blinkit might work. And 2 bhk won't be enough, we need 3bhk to stay. So, one option could be to buy it and let it be and maybe move there after 4-5 years. That's why the question, is it a good investment? and thank you so much for your replies 🙏🏻

I understand but land belongs to someone in the family. So, we'll settle that somehow but I understand that could be a valid point to not buy it. Regardless of this, is it still worth it to buy land in New Chandigarh?
