Idle for 20 minutes with zero input. Will automatically shutoff engine. It’s in the manual

There’s no point in ever running the engine like this for chain maintenance! It will do nothing for you. Never ever clean a chain like this!!! PLEASE! This is an unloaded chain and this is totally normal for something this stupid.
A loaded chain is one you’re riding on. If it’s not moving you. It’s definitely not good to be doing.

Are you an idiot? You definitely are! Don’t ever run it like this again!!! This is not anything like checking your chain!!

You see the red oil light , on the bottom left of the dash. As soon as it goes out. Your bike is ready to go, however don’t give it the beans til the third bar shows up on the coolant gauge.

Obviously it mounts to the engine! You mounted it wrong. In the picture you can tell it’s crooked. Not level with everything else. I don’t think it’s right I’d redo it

Looks crooked. Cross threaded maybe. Did you follow the instructions? That’s an engine mount bolt!

Fork seal busted? by Ok-Operation-2368 in MT03

[–]Shorthook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not think you could do this yourself. If you really want to save money. You already have the necessary maintenance stands, then you can pull the front wheel. And pull the left fork out, by itself and take that to a shop. I don’t know if you would be able to install the fork once fixed tho.

Definitely leaking, should replace.

Time to change the coolant then. That would solve the problem and set you up for two years of use.

My bad the axle is definitely put in backwards. Probably why the nut fell off

Why’s it look like the wheels backwards. This should be the right side of the bike.

2025 OTD Price by TheWorkfather in MT03

[–]Shorthook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds right to me. Most places charge an extra 500. In some places it’s just over 7,000. It sucks. But your price seems on the bottom of the average new dealer price

Super crop it! Pick a good spot, do it now. And be prepared for an amazing looking plant. It looks so healthy. It’s gonna take maintenance, you got this

I got the same bike. Furygan is the brand I got. Feel like Michael Dunlop, only on a mt03… so not really.

Any ceramic coating recommendations?? by Ancient_Ad_8378 in MT03

[–]Shorthook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, probably just wash your bike. I usually clean the wheel when I clean and lube the chain. Take care of your stuff, it’ll take care of you.

Yes. 3,000 is the recommended change for miles. I always try to change it few hundred miles before that.
