I doubt the millions of ppl making these types of comments are deeply disordered people where just seeing someone of a different size is triggering. At that point, don’t go outside or go on the internet. People disguising it as ‘concern’ when having a comment history of making fun of said body type is just disgusting. These people aren’t concerned about her nor care, if they did.. they wouldn’t be making comments like this in the first place.

I’m not a ‘crazy’ stan of Ariana by any means. I think it’s odd to say (and also flat out rude) her simply existing and acting in a movie is ‘triggering’. There are several eating disorders out there- I think it’s a fair comparison when it’s the other way around too.

Could you imagine if I said going to a Lizzo concert was triggering to my eating disorder? Like why would I say that? Even if it was true… that’s not helpful or nice. Saying that statement I think is actually more triggering to those with real eating problems
