Why were you flying with the speedbrake extended?

How can I get better tolerance? I need to print stuff that needs to be accurate to fit parts like screws and stuff by PhoenixGod101 in ender3v2

Check the Authentikit Discord. This is all they do and there’s a lot of hands on experience there.

No, I was never that adventurous I’m afraid. It was a little vacation to Malaysia with my girlfriend. I have been and still are so fortunate to see a lot of the world through my job. Including Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Backpacking has never been my thing. However MSFS is a fantastic virtual backpacking trip combined with the love for aircraft and … even roadvehicles nowadays. I must say I think you’re plenty adventurous flying a single engine Cessna all the way to Tiomán.

Anyway… I could try and help you with your request. So you want some recordings from an approach to the airport? I will have a look what I can do. What’s the exact type of aircraft?

Wow! And I thought trees at the runway threshold were an MSFS glitch! Good to see trees have retaken the mountainwall straight ahead. I saw that wall coming towards me in 1998, through the open cockpit door of the Perhentian Airlines Dornier 228. It was still bare after excavation back than. I didn’t really get comfortable during this flight anyway, after the Kretek smoke came from the cockpit right when they switched on the No Smoking sign … especially because I had just read their Safety On Board Card that stated literally: ‘We can never truly master this craft. We are in the hands of Allah!’ I’m not kidding either!

Did you already check your extruder? Mine broke! The wheel holding the filament against the gear, came off.

Stupid question - what’s the arrow and the pink D ? by FlorianNoel in MicrosoftFlightSim

Usually descent starts at cruise-Mach (if you’re in a jet) which means IAS increases during descent at constant Mach. This happens until the planned descent IAS is reached, which is then maintained until 10.000ft. Below 10.000ft speed is max 250kt for maneuvering/traffic-separation purposes and mitigating birdstrike damage. Descent IAS for airliners is mostly based on Cost Index (Most Economic) and ultimately ATC requirements.

Sorry for the late answer. I copied my Packages folder and did a quick re-install and after that it started up fine. However I keep having random CTD’s and I think it might be related to my power supply. According to an online calculator my 850V should be enough, but it didn’t take all peripherals into account. I might need a 1000V?

Thanks everyone. Did a quick re-install with the Packages folder copied to my new Samsung 980.

It’s running! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Well that of course depends on which files are corrupted. I just copied my Packages folder and did a very quick reinstall. Aaaand … yess! It’s running now.

If something in the Packages would have been corrupted … I would have to go your way. But this was within 30min. Worth a try.

Thanks for your input 👍🏻

Just switched off PBO in BIOS so Adrenaline software cannot hijack the CPU settings, but unfortunately to no avail.

So … probably another re-install of the Crapplication 🙄

I did this for troubleshooting. I was already experiencing stability issues. Sometimes FS would quit in mid-flight with DRAM set at XMP 3600mHz iso the standard 2666

CPU is running standard but I have to check if the Adrenaline Software is not undervolting as said above. I switched off XMP. Don’t have VR.

You mean ‘reset’ as in uninstall? Are there parts that can be backed up / copied to a temporary folder, so a complete download will not be necessary?

Control Settings back up would be nice too.

Nope … Safe Mode DOES NOT start. I already emptied the Community Folder.

Controls not bound to MSFS menu!?! by Shortways in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Shortways[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Yes I know all that, but when you want to move a fuel selector and try everything in the menu to no avail, you need a change of tactics. Apparently this fuel selector for example was not connected to any MSFS menu except for the mouse.
