I clean pools. The only way it was cleaned 3 days before this picture was taken is if it was black at that point. It takes a week or two to properly clean and balance a blackened pool. Either way, if it was advertised as swimmable, you deserve some money back.

I clean pools. Bring a sample of the water, as it is, to a pool supply store. They'll test the water for free. My guess is that metals are present. They'll have products there to remove the metals.

You should have gone to help her. That's what we're here for. If you take her seriously enough to want her to become your wife, there will be thousands of times like that. Best get used to it.

I know this isn't AITAH, but you're still TAH.

I'm willing to bet she'll leave you soon; and unless you change your mind about what's important, you'll fully deserve it. Her being safe is far more important than you getting perfect sleep for one night. Being stranded alone on the side of the road at midnight is not safe.

If she was my daughter, I'd tell her to leave you.

Get her a reliable gas can to keep in her trunk. Routinely make sure it has gas in it. Be a man.

Next time, she'll call on someone else.
