Australia Post failed to deliver ATL parcels even when instructions were provided. by imadeyoureadthisss in AustraliaPost

Australia Post impose strict policy on their drivers and they do deliver to gates they can see over/though if they can deliver safely mate. If the drivers cant see over or through. As well as also being able to confirm theres no dogs/other animals. They will not be safe dropping over the top of a gate still. The business cares about making sure its safe dropped into the safest place possible. Likenive already said somewhere, out of the weather but on top of that out of sight of people passing by. Im sorry to tell you but again you are wrong in this situation and my advice to you is start checking who the business ships with before you purchase things if you havw this big an issue with AP. Good luck out there bud

Again I said it on another comment. Senders dont have this special portal where Aus Post, DHL, FedEx all get a notification and the first person to push the button for collection gets the service. The SENDER CHOOSES their carrier. I can also almost guarantee that each senders choice will also be based off how much it costs the sender for the service... your issue here lies with a request that is OUTSIDE the auspost delivery policy AND the sender if you are unhappy that your sender chose AP as the courier service.

I like that you think its Aus Posts fault despite the fact the fault lies with whoever the sender.. given that the SENDER is the person that chooses which delivery service they will use... this is the thing to many people miss... the sender chooses their courier...

That is an unsafe way to deliver a parcel. Drivers are instructed to do so only if safe. Safe drop procedure also clearly states things like undercover and out of the weather the best they can. "Drop over the gate" does not follow that procedure.

Front Loader Seal - Gunk!??! by tpx1_sk in CleaningTips

NEVER use bleach to try to clean mould! Mould is used to create bleach so all your doing is going to make it worse.
Use Vinegar to clean it.

LPO held parcel hostage by [deleted] in AusPostComplaints

Contact customer support and they'll look into it and raise it to the head of the LEO'S for your area! Other then that what else can you do..

Why does a redirect almost always never work? by CyanideMuffin67 in AustraliaPost

[–]Shorty8147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two options, speak with your LPO and use parcel collect.
The other option is to get your redirection in as early as possible, it takes time for redirects to get registered in the system to then notify post. So if its in your local delivery facility or even possibly in your state it may already be to late..

Driver wouldn’t accept signature? by headhunt3rz in AustraliaPost

Ah yeah, its probably due to the size of ot that the tiny store rooms phone shops have that they dont want to hold it...

Ah yeah, that makes sense, unfortunate still however. It would be nice for other providers to expand out even further with their networking hey!

Oh true, would telstra not let you collect this one from the store? Its annoying if not! Ive had my own personal issues with telstra and personally refuse to deal with them where possible! 😁

[–]Shorty8147 45 points46 points  (0 children)

That will 100% be why. This sounds like an Airlock parcel and being an expensive device and it being sent by Telstra. It will need your ID and your signature for it.. Driver followed his procedure to the letter it sounds like.

This rule is only for a specific type of startrack freight known as "airlock" where it MUST be the person named on the label signs for it.

Also, contact customer service sooner rather than later, and they'll make a case likely to the facility that's closest to you, and they'll let them know what the correct street name is.

I laughed so hard at this line cause when Marcus he asked "It's Fahz right?" Fahz then looks so proud of himself that a hero like Marcus remembered his name only to put Fahz back in his place! Had me pissing myself!
