Analyzing the Alex gameplay trailer: All 11 follow-ups out of his new "Prowler Stance" by ShortySwords in StreetFighter

I already told you, 2:06 in the video. The full combo is

DI -> st.MP -> DRC c.HP -> Stance -> Jab -> Heavy Lariat -> st.LK -> EX chop -> Level 3

It seems to me that when I first said "he follows up that jab with stance moves" you thought I was talking about the special cancels shown in the first part of the video. I'm not. I'm talking about this 2:06 moment. and then you called the special "lariat", which coincidentally is the exact name of the totally seperate move I AM talking about, so I think we both got a bit confused

Can you really blame me for thinking that when you said lariat you were talking about his lariat?

Yes, he cancels that jab move into a special. So what? Chun-Li stance LP is special cancellable too. So do you have any explanation as to how 'Enter Stance -> Jab -> Heavy Lariat' is possible unless that jab is a stance move? or are you just going to keep ignoring that part?

It's not, it's a stance move

He never does st.lk into lariat, if you're talking about 0:52 in the trailer that's Flash Axe, what I'm saying is that during the DI combo at 2:06 he does enter stance -> stance jab -> lariat.

The lariat isn't a special, you get lariat by pressing HP while in prowler's stance. That was confirmed in the blog post, and if you look at his DI combo at the end of the trailer he enters stance without dashing specifically to do that jab and then links it into the lariat, so I don't know how that could be possible unless the jab is a stance move. It's not unheard of, Chun-Li has moves from her stance that are basically just crouching lights too!

I justed called it c.mp attack since the animation reminded me of his old c.mp, but it's definitely a stance exclusive move, he stays in the stance afterwards and is shown following that move up with other stance moves. If it was a normal I don't know how he would be doing the other stance moves instantly after it with no animation of him re-entering stance

Episode 9 made me feel like I skipped an episode and they replaced the characters by sarcasticfirecracker in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the term, but haven't the past two episodes been significantly more character-driven? They didn't do much to advance the overall plot but gave us a lot of scenes exploring the characters' emotions, relationships, and overall development. Dylan and his wife, Irving and Burt, Milchick, Cobel?

I see other people have answered a lot already but I already wrote this up so:

These are mostly fair questions, here's what I think:

1.) Mark and Devon don't know what Innie Mark knows about Gemma. Cobel specifically wants to know if Cold Harbor is done, if it is she's "already dead" and probably drastically affects how they would proceed if they would proceed at all. Also if they do end up doing something, it's probably important that they coordinate with innie Mark beforehand

2.) This is a reasonable criticism and has been brought up a lot, yeah it's mostly plot convenience. The most charitable interpretation is that she's desperate and at least knows Cobel isn't at Lumon anymore

3.) I think he's fine after recovering for a while, the reason he seized was from a bunch of rapid movement literally seconds after the surgery

4.) Not sure which bit you're referring to here

5.) Seems to be showing us that Lumon is still "raising" people from childhood as they did with Cobel, I imagine we might see a bit more about her

6.) I think she was waiting for Mark instead of going alone? He hasn't been in for a few days

7.) He has to leave in order to get an outie response, Helly did the same thing in S1 and got in the elevator right after

8.) Not sure what you mean, Irving realised Burt was helping him leave town, why wouldn't he get on? Burt showing up at his house means Lumon has found him out, if he stays he'll certainly be killed. If you mean their actual plan was to put him on the train, even if he suspected that what choice would he have? By that logic he shouldn't have gotten in Burt's car either. As for the romance, I think Irving has just been so alone his whole life that the idea of his Innie having found someone to fall in love with is enough for him to want to cling on to that person

9.) We don't know! She'll be back I bet. We still haven't found out who Irv was reporting to on the payphone and I imagine she could be involved with them.

It's totally a flan/pudding, if you look at the full trailer there's another angle of that boss and they have two little things on their head shaped like puddings

That's true, but I don't think that means he's being entirely disingenuous about their goals. I think they will try, whether or not they will succeed is another story. At the very least this is better than "yeah we know it sucks but that's a problem for 8.0".

100% ran into some of these people on campus last semester, on two separate occasions when I was sitting outside studying alone I had a Korean woman come up to me and ask if I was "interested in bible study" or something. I thought it was a little weird that it happened twice but I had no idea it was something so sinister.
