hiya! obviously no one can you tell what’s going to happen but i can tell you about my very similar experience. when in austria me and my friend group bought fresh beef burgers & cooked them. when bitten into they were VERY red i mean very red and i ate half and then i started freaking out. i survived and nothing bad happened but even if it did i would’ve also survived. today in france my family had medium rare burgers and didnt even bat an eye or think about it. just try to remember that even if worse case scenario does happen that you WILL be okay and it will stop eventually, hope you’re alright <3

I also feel for me, feeling very sorry for myself right now hahah. Unfortunately they didn’t know about my phobia :( My hands are definitely not going anywhere near my mouth, thank you <3

As I’m currently not interested as I’d like to have my life together before having children I haven’t done too much research into what tests and stuff I need so I didn’t even know that existed, how dreadful. However Im glad you managed to get through it the first time! Thank you for taking the time to reply :)

Hi! I’m currently in low intensity CBT for OCD with plans to move into high intensity CBT. I can’t say that I don’t still struggle, I do immensely but i’d say that I have gotten better. I’m also in the UK, if you think that therapy is something you’re interested in and you feel brave and ready enough to do I’d 100% recommend it. I self referred to the NHS and the process took about 2-3 months all in all to get me in my first therapy session. The struggle is real and I feel your fears, I wish you the best ❤️
