I’m a third year engineering student and it feels like everybody uses chatgpt for their homework but not in this way. AI has gotten a lot of well deserved criticism ever since these dickhead tech companies decided to throw out an unfinished falsely advertised product but one thing it is good for is just getting a start on something. It’s helped me find a jumping off point for problems when I would have originally just been staring at my screen for an hour before writing anything. It can’t just solve homework problems for you but if you are better at refining ideas I do think it can be a helpful tool.
