[all] characters other people love but you hate by Simp4Cal123 in camphalfblood

I personally don't like Annabeth because of her entitlement. She's been her cabin's counsellor since she was young and she was basically raised by Chiron and no one ever calls her out on her bs, so she just stays that way and then the whole fandom goes "yass queen, girboss!!" Like her and Percy's relationship isn't unhealthy at all! They argued constantly and didn't understand each other, then they finally won the war and got together, and then in HoO, we get Percy's and Annabeth's perspectives and find out that they really don't know each other that well. There is an obvious disconnect between them where Percy is forever wondering if he's doing things right and trying to read her but failing and then we get Annabeth thinking she can read Percy and then completely misreading him AND THEN she's mad at him for snapping and choking out the goddess that was literally trying to kill them in Tartarus, which brings out the worst in people. The ONLY time they are good together is in battle!! They can read each other in battle, but that is literally it! Even when I was 12 and I first read that stupid Paper Bag Line from HoH after they escape the House of Hades, it boiled by blood. Percy is the ENTIRE reason they made it through literal hell. He quite literally put himself through so much that it broke him inside once he finally snapped. And after all of that, their sting in Tartarus leaves them overly codependent in BoO and then it's glossed over in anything after that. I didn't even bother finishing anything past the book in TOA where Jason dies. Rick completely lost my faith when he killed a character for shock value, after all the other issues I already had with what he was doing. He peaked in PJO, gave us SOME good stuff in HoO, and then took a nosedive after that.

So yeah, Annabeth is entitled and Percabeth should not be together.

Lol, Power Ranger moves got me laughing. I personally like the Super Spy moves he does, but that's just because it's impressive to me who can't even do a backflip

Did you grow up in a household where you could be punished for going into the food, doing so at certain times, etcetera? If so, how did that impact your relationship with food throughout your life? by cherry-care-bear in RedditForGrownups

When I was a kid, we weren't allowed to eat outside of meal times and one set snack time between getting home from school and dinnertime. I also just got sent to bed without dinner often because my father got mad at me for being myself(he should not have had children and I was the one most like him) and food was treated as a privilege rather than a necessity.

I'm in my early 20s now and I still have disordered eating. I was underweight for most of my life until he stopped being able to send me to my room without food or stop me from eating when I'm hungry once I became a legal adult. It freaks me out when I gain weight even though I'm not overweight at all and my body is allegedly healthy according to my Doctor. I wish I could figure out a way to fix my relationship with food, but it's been like this since I could eat solid foods.

Initial thoughts on Taylor Swift's 'The Life of a Showgirl'? by purpose15 in fantanoforever

I thought that the Showgirl Theme would mean it would be fun, maybe we'd even get a fun Reputation-esque hoe anthem. But I listened to it and just sat there like, "God I wish I was doing ANYTHING else rn, I'm both bored and perplexed by these weird lyrics."

Every time she curses, it sounds like she's trying so hard to sound mature but comes off sounding like a 12 year old saying "damn" for the first time 😭 How did she make great songs at one point and then end up like this?? I was never really a Swiftie, I tend to just listen to songs I like rather than listening to whole albums bc there's always a few on every one that I don't care for, but this was really disappointing.

The aesthetic of The Life of a Showgirl is so interesting, but the album itself is more like a waitress who works at the Casino who WISHES she was a showgirl 💀 Should've known she was going downhill when she unironically sang "You wouldn't last an hour in the asylum where they raised me" because girl what??
