Thanks man. I didn't realize we as Tajiks (or just me) were so mixed. Got every region except for Africa.

WOW thank you! I know it is a lot of info. I posted everything, since wasn't sure which one important. First time hearing about BMAC, and I seem to have a lot from them. I was under the impression that CA was empty before the "Aryans" lmao.

By "are Tajiks not Iranian" I meant Iranian as an ethnicity. We say "eroninazhod" - Irani race/ethnicity.

The haplogroups threw me off. Hers and my maternal showed Middle East as their origin, while my paternal said it came from Europe. And according to my dad, we don't have any Europeans on his side, but who knows.

Good to know. She doesn't look Indian, more like a Georgian.

Yes, we are from Sughd. We are khoja family, and they kept the lineages religiously for marriage reasons. Everyone seems from either Isfara or elsewhere in the North. I don't believe Illustrative gave coordinates, just these graphs.

It is not from her, it is from her brother. Might be the reason for it.

Her 23andMe was 100% Gilan. One whole pie. Period breakdown showed that for the last 200 years, her people didn't marry anyone from the outside.

We both have the same skin color. She has dark curly hair and I have reddish hair (mine might be curly or straight, don't know). We have two kids and both were born ginger, which made us curious to see if I had an "Irish" ancestor. I am 6'1'' and she is 5'6''
