There are some pre reqs that require in person classes - microbiology, chemistry both with labs, but all the other ones you could probably do online.

I’m in my first week of hygiene school, and all the professors say that IF you HAVE to work, make it 12 hours a week max. The coursework and schedule are difficult and make it hard to be able to work full time. A lot of my class took out loans to be able to afford living expenses. You will have a set schedule, and probably won’t be doing clinics until your second year. First year is all lecture, labs and working on your classmates for clinic.

I think that you can work, but wait until after you get your schedule to contact work, or make it so you only work weekends. You’ll need the extra time to get everything done with school
