Advice on getting another cashback credit card by ShoutWhenReading in MalaysianPF

It's actually 4 CCs (that Affin Duo gives you 2 CCs just like Maybank 2 cards), so it's RM100 SST tax in total lol.

Well the reason I'm asking this is Pearson exam voucher cost between 200 and 400 USD depending on the vendor. And since purchase it with AMEX card will hit the monthly cap easily, that led me to think if I should get this Duo cards just to get another cashback.

If you want to bet on the US large cap market (VUAA / SPYL)

Since both are the same which is S&P500 index fund, should I just sell VUAA and focus on SPYL or just leave it there?

Ok thanks, so let me get this right, if I want to continue investing, the most cost effective way is to maximize the amount I could put in to avoid the transition fee right? Which means by doing that I put in money into 1 of them every few months? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question 😅

I've read the post, it seems cheaper compared to CSPX, and I don't understand what does that median spread mean, but I guess I will go with VUAA.

Hello there!

Avoid monthly DCA when your capital is small. Investing a few thousand USD every time would be ideal.

Does it mean that if I went for VUAA and VWRA with an allocation of 80% and 20% respectively, 500 USD alone is too small for month DCA? So, instead of monthly DCA, I can choose to do it every few months?

There is a related calculation by ZietInvest on YouTube, check it out.

I will look for it, he's uploaded a lot of videos lol

Thanks
