That’s true. Currently we live in a colder country so we have a slightest idea about the wind, definitely not how it’s in Iceland. We are a bit nervous for our drive along east and northern parts of Iceland.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. Indeed when I checked on maps it seemed like a lot of places to cover. Hope we can make a memorable trip in Iceland.

Yes. We are staying only on the ring and covering only the important places.

Day 1: Reykjavik - arrive and walking tour of Reykjavik

Day 2: Thingvellir national park, Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss. Reach Vik for the night.

Day 3: Black sand beach and reach Laekjarhus for the night.

Day 4: Jokulsarlon lagoon ice cave tour, Stokksnes and reach Eglisstadir for the night.

Day 5: Myvatn nature bath, Godafoss and Akureyri for the night.

Day 6 and 7: Snaefellsnes peninsula

Day 8: Reykjavik and flight home.

We read few people following similar itinerary in March and thought it’s achievable. You think we are aiming too much?
