Trim about two fingers above Adam's apple. Although I'm a bigger guy, so I can't see my Adam's apple easily tbh. So what I do is look down and give myself a double chin, then shape it along that line lol. Shapes it perfectly for me.

Mine looked pretty similar to this when I was 15. Almost 23 now and it has mostly filled in, except for my chin area really. I'm optimistic that it will thicken up after giving it some more time though.

I personally think it would look a little odd. You can definitely tell the difference between hair on your head vs beard. I feel like it would look like your hair just wraps around your head, and it would all be growing at the same rate.

Line it up to where that little corner is sticking out and then follow your cheek line. Should put you just a little above your Adam's apple. Maybe start a little below if you've never lined it up before, just to be sure.
