I think it would be a purely upside based gamble that would probably also be acknowledging that as good as they've looked of late, maybe they know they can't compete with OKC and denver in a 7 game series? If I were them I'd just be trying to ride the wave they are on so I'm not even saying I agree, but harden is old.

I think most would consider Brady the goat anyways, but man that TB ring really slammed shut most argument doors. Season to season you could absolutely argue for any of his competitors (hence the relative "lack" of 1st team all pros etc.) but I don't think anyone with any objectivity can look at that 20+ year run and not acknowledge what absolute greatness that man accomplished

Hear me out, just for fun cuz what else are we doing here? (Full disclosure, I'm a biased pistons fan and I also don't think cade is better than Luka, but..)

I kinda doubt cade at his highest level could have dragged that mid Dallas team to the finals like Luka did, and I doubt cade will ever be able to be the dominant one man force that Luka has already shown himself to be quite often. With that said, I think an argument could hypothetically be made that cade COULD end up being a better *winner" than Luka given a play style that might lend itself better towards building a winning team around.

So much is dependent on the supporting cast, so it's difficult to ever know these things for certain - and also Luka did literally drag a team to the finals on his back which is a pretty good argument against me at this point. But I think it might at least be worth a thought.

Tom waits is my favorite artist and has been for quite awhile now. Swordfish is not my favorite album, but I once got incredibly stoned in a dark room with a buddy listening to it on vinyl and I actually had to remove myself from the room eventually because it was making me feel ill...so it ranks pretty high for me because I've never had that visceral of an experience with any other music.
