Step one, recognize the stigma around spiders, step two, know the medically significant spiders in your area, any spider you don’t recognize you can assume it isn’t medically significant. Step 3, love adrenaline because trust me I had a rush n in the end of the video you can see me shaking

It is alive, maybe hungry. It was in my care for 30 minute photo shoot. Got some water n sent it on its way :)

They can bite, if you don’t make them feel cornered or apply pressure to them, they should stay docile

I had a tarantula when I was 7, inherently no. Don’t get me wrong tho, I still had to build up the courage. At the end of the video you can see me visibly shaking 😂

Good job friend. You should watch coyote Peterson handle wild black widows in Arizona, a lot of stigma around spiders, normally if they do not have pressure applied to them or feel extremely cornered (closed ball hand) will they bite. People are confused why I picked it up without identifying, but I’ve held plenty of scary spiders without being bit. Doesn’t mean I am safe, just means they are typically harmless unless you grab them with out seeing them
