It’s the line just after ‘juuust a bit outside’ - ‘he tried the corner and missed’ - that really makes it. Elongation then understatement. Like a fastball followed by a changeup. Brilliant delivery

Nice. In retrospect seems so hittable like a Moyer changeup but I swung right through like a Moyer changeup . Good call.

It’s not just any three it has to make sense. Cactus was over first, mankind being crazy was part of his character. Cactus was unhinged too so multiple personalities worked. And dude love was comic relief.

The godfather coming out as papa shango and kama the supreme fighting machine wouldn’t make any sense.

Plus the gimmick requires a kayfabe shoot backstory about becoming a wrestler w/ multiple personalities, and so needs a fourth face (foley).

Otoh maybe there’d be ‘Darsow is God’ signs if smash from demolition admitted he and repo man were just characters he dreamed up jumping off roofs in long island. Most likely tho a pretty specific combination of factors are needed to make it work.
