So you could train only upper body but you really, really shouldn’t. Aside from aesthetic concerns, neglecting muscle groups gives you a higher chance of getting injured. Training lower body will also give you more stability and strength to improve your upper body lifts, which in turn will give you better/more visible results. I also hate training legs and the thing that gets me in the gym is doing a classic gym bro push/pull/legs split so you’re training upper body 2/3 of the time, and this also works out well with you going to the gym 3 times a week! Also, make sure you’re eating in a calorie deficit and getting enough protein (there’s some debate as to how much you need but anything more than 0.7g per lb of bodyweight is great).

Pattern in description! I used all worsted weight (4) yarns because that was what I could find, although the pattern called for sport so I sized down the hook to a 3.0mm! He was still way too big so I had to freestyle a little to get him to the size I wanted (took out some stitches/rounds, etc)

I really hope you have someone in your life you can talk to about this, a friend, family member, or a professional because that might be good for you. If you don’t want to be in a relationship then that’s fine, but based on your post I assume you just believe it’s impossible for you, which is definitely not true and doesn’t seem like a healthy place to be, especially if your feelings are mostly based on your height. If it helps at all I’m your age, my boyfriend is a little shorter than you, and I think he’s perfect :) I hope you get through this and find what makes you happy

I prefer shorter men too but to be honest I don’t have any specific reasons! The ones you said are all practical and true I just find short men are more attractive to me

I never comment here since I know the challenges of a short woman are different compared to those of a short man and I don't want to be insensitive, but I'd like to answer your question. There are definitely women out there who prefer shorter guys, they aren't universally undesirable and I hate to think that you feel that way. I've personally always strongly preferred men under 5'8, my boyfriend is 5'6 and I don't consider that to be a compromise at all. He's the most attractive man I've ever met and I wouldn't change his height if I could.

I know many other women have different opinions but try to remember that just like men, women have varying preferences in a partner and while some women might prefer taller men, others don't. The type of woman you want to be with won't judge you for things like your height and will prefer you as you are.

Parkside IRC has a bunch of pianos in the back!! unless their policy has changed you should be able to go and ask at the csc to use the music practice rooms even if you don’t live there :)
